My 2019 Spotify list is up and running. It is embedded below for your pleasure. Pretty much any kind of list I’ve ever cobbled together can be found here on my website.
You can listen to my Spotify playlists for 2018, 2017, 2015, and 2014 (and years before that, through The New Yorker’s Spotify account). The list for 2016 is simply Spotify telling me what I listened to most often in 2016. It’s a bit circular—it was a hard year, so I didn’t make a customized list. And because it was that kind of year, I listened to a lot of my comfort tracks, which were then surveilled, so that playlist is actually my 2016, but it is also every year. It’s fairly accurate.
